Camilla Petote is a 21-year-old photographer from Santa Barbara, California, and a fourth-year student at NYU Gallatin pursuing a concentration in Culture, Identity, and Storytelling. What started as a way to document her travels and her friends developed into a lasting interest in analog photography. Through 35mm film, she explores themes of nostalgia, intimacy, and place, often focusing on the ways both internal and external landscapes shape identity. Her work blends portraiture with documentary style, creating images that feel both personal and universal, grounded in the everyday.
